As for the size, I must say that it's rather large compared to other HD TVs. I think it's one of the larger 42 inch TVs when it comes to size. It came very close to not fitting in my desired spot so if you are living on a tight space, measure the dimensions of your stand or frame first since this TV is sort of tall, too.

BUT with the niceties that the LG 42LH90 High Definition LED TV has to offer, the size issue is no biggie! Let's take a closer look.

When it comes to colors, the whites are so...well, white. The blacks are infinitely deep. They can be too dark or too blinding if you don't have the right settings. As for the other colors, they are very crisp and magnificent!

While I'm not a picture quality connoisseur or expert, I can say that this TV rocks! I tested it different times and here are the findings.

I tested my PlayStation 3 and tried watching the whole first season on Lost on Blu Ray. I was shocked, my jaws drop! The high definition channel of ABC looks like standard definition compared to this one. The opening scene when Jack comes to his senses in the jungle and looks up into the bamboos is simply incredible (as well as the rest of the show).

Next, I played Heavy Rain and Dante's Inferno - PlayStation 3 video games that are very demanding video wise, and again, I was amazed at how vivid the colors are. If you are looking for the high definition TV that is as close to perfection, this DEFINITELY is it!

Now let's take a look at the images when I used my HD cable box from Time Warner. You see, I'm someone who loves watching sports and movies. I just can't live a day without them.

I recorded SuperBowl in HD since my TV would be delivered within days. The result? Again, amazing! The Colts' jerseys are as blue as they could get. The white jerseys are perfect too. On the other hand, the Saint's jerseys looked so unreal in a positive way.

Oh, last test - I recorded WatchMen on HBO since I want to test my TV on it when it arrives. Do I have to say what's the result? ULTIMATELY positive! It's as if the heroes are right in front of me.
