Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR8 High Definition TV – Going Beyond Perfect Picture Quality

Want a TV that delivers more than picture perfect images and videos? Are you a serious movie lover who wants to bring those vids and movies to life? Yeah?

If that's the case, then checking out the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR8 High Definition TV is a MUST!

Aside from the full HD 1080 pixels (which is common fare among the latest high definition TVs today), this masterpiece from Sony showcases Triluminos RGB Dynamic LED backlight that creates realistic and jaw dropping images - giving it enhanced color purity and exceptional detail that no other TV can!

Along with that, you will also see the huge difference that the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR8 High Definition TV brings thanks to the MotionFlow 120 Hz pro Technology. This enhances motion and gives you a smoother and clearer picture. Goodbye motion blurs!

The Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR8 High Definition TV also has the DMex Functionality that lets you expand your HD TV's capabilities...giving you additional and optional Bravia Link modules (they are sold separately by the way) along with different connectivity options to link up your video sources.

My Experience With The Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR8 High Definition TV!
After using it for a month or so, I can say that this TV set is one of the best 5 flat panel sets you could ever lay your hands on. Other brands and models that come neck to neck with this Sony Bravia is the Pioneer Kuro Pro 111FD Plasma TV as well as the Samsung LN46A950 that also comes with LED backlights.

This set is one of the best 5 flat panel sets being produced. The others include the Pioneer Kuro PRO-111FD plasma and Samsung LN46A950 which also has LED back lighting.

Take note - all of these models are expensive (and rightly so). Before picking any of them, it's best to see them in action and compare them.

So far, everything has been fine and well with the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR8 High Definition TV. I don't have any quibbles with it. In my opinion, though, the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR8 High Definition TV will work better in a room that has normal lighting conditions than the more expensive Pioneer Kuro. Along with that, this Bravia can better render standard definition programs. In that department, too, this TV set from Sony blows those first generation LED high definition TV sets out of the water.

The LED backlighting of the TV set generates less heat than those LCD sets thanks to cold cathode backlighting and much less heat compared to a Plasma TV because of the low electrical current draw.

Excellent image quality, colors that are bright, vivid, and very detailed, performs at par or at times even better than the industry's gold standards - as far as I'm concerned, the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR8 High Definition TV gets two thumbs up and my highest recommendation!

Now, it's up for you to decide if this TV set is worth the money. As mentioned earlier, this model is as expensive as Pioneer Kuro. BUT let me tell you this - those who can afford it are very unlikely to be disappointed with the image quality it delivers.

One last reminder - for you to get the most out of the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-46XBR8 High Definition TV, getting an ISF certified technician to do a full calibration is a must.
